Removal Technique
Our new Silicone
Hydrogel material is highly water retentive, resulting in a more
slippery surface. When removing these soft lenses from the eye
some wearers prefer to use the usual "pinch off" method as for
normal soft contact lenses and others prefer an alternative removal approach which is to
apply lid pressure from the top and bottom, using the same
method as that for the removal of an RGP lens.
It
is important that you ask your contact lens practitioner to
advise what is best for you as professional advice is essential
for healthy contact lens wear.
